Lenovo K4 Note vs. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

Lenovo K4 Note has been in the news these days for its effective performance and good user reviews regarding its first class features. With the introduction of Lenovo K4 Note, the K series has gained a great addition to its already marvelous smart phones. With improved design and extra features, Lenovo K4 Note has gained a good appreciation for its new features that has pushed this phone into the elite group of smart phones of this time. K4 Note is available in a single color of black, whereas Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is available in three colors silver, gold and gray which are attractive in their way.

K4 Note works on an octa-core 1.3 GHz processor which provides the best user experience with effective functionality and optimized performance. Redmi works on a processor of specification Dual Core 1.8 GHz + Quad Core 1.2 GHz making it of Hexa-core range, which makes it a better phone according to processor specifications. The processor plays an important role in the overall experience, and it can be called the heart of the mobile phone, so choosing the correct phone with a good processor is important.


RAM & Memory
When it comes to RAM specifications, K4 Note works on an amazing 3 GB RAM, with lots of scope for multitasking and background application support. The user reviews state no disturbance and are happy with the way the RAM functions. Meanwhile, Redmi Note 3 works with a RAM of size 2 GB, but it is known for its full speed and easy access. There are other phones that work fine with a lesser RAM space, and this should not be a concern too.

Both the K4 Note and Redmi Note 3 work with the Android operating system but on different versions, where K4 Note is equipped with the 5.1 version whereas the Redmi Note 3 is loaded with the previous version of 5.0 of Android OS. Both these phones rate at the same level based on their software performance, because there hasn’t been much difference between 5 and 5.1 versions of the Android OS.


Camera
The camera comparison can be rated as the same level as both these phones provide almost similar picture quality. Where the K4 Note has 13MP rear camera, Redmi Note 3 is provided with the rear camera supporting picture quality at 16 MP with additional common features like dual LED flash, auto face detection, auto focus, touch focus and other simple features like geo-tagging, panorama, and HDR. Even the front camera specification is the same for both these phones that support a picture quality of 5 MP. Also; both these phones support HD video recording at 1080 pixel range.


Battery
When it comes to the battery specifications, Redmi Note 3 has the upper hand with its non removable Li-Po 4050 mAh battery that provides a back-up time of up to 60 hours on music playback mode. The Lenovo K4 Note is equipped with a battery that provides 3300 mAh power and gives a backup time of up to 23 hours on 2G mode.


This is a tough comparison between these two phones, both being equipped with the best features available in the market. Lenovo K4 Note is better in its RAM space and memory specifications whereas the Redmi Note 3 is better in its processor, battery and design. The Lenovo K4 Note looks trendy with its curvy edges and smooth finishing, but it is available in a single color only. The Redmi Note 3 comes with a fresh look with a range of colors to choose from, and the screen looks beautiful when matched with the right color.
